Video Iceland Art

Temperature, light, wind, rain, ice and snow and not to forget the geothermics of the island create highly interesting motifs. I have already visited the fascinating island in the North Atlantic four times. Here unites for me the love of the travel destination and photography. Many of the pictures from the series Iceland-Art were taken in rainy and gray weather. For landscape photography, unfortunately, rather unusable and unspectacular. Why, I asked myself, should the supposedly bad pictures, which are not normally suitable for reproduction but which occur to every photographer, why should these pictures disappear uselessly in the trash? It is precisely with this consideration that I began my artistic creative process with some joy of experimentation. I checked blurs, color shifts, contrast errors and also light errors on the Apple Macintosh for variations, developed new layers, clippings, masks, shifted the gradation curves, worked in blurs and so on.

Daniel Rudolf gave the project the appropriate musical framework with his fantastic synthesizer playing, many thanks for that!
